Reports To: Senior Pastor
Employment STATUS: Part-Time
Hours: Monday – Thursday 9am to 3pm and Sundays 8 to 12
Compensation: $25/hour
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Support the ministries and mission of Light of the Valley church by managing administrative functions, including supervision of staff, support the pastor and volunteers, benefits administration, insurance, and taxes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Functions
umbrella and workers compensation policies.
supervision of the Tech Coordinator, including maintenance and upgrade of
hardware and software, training, the local area network, the church
management system and development of new applications; coordinates
management of the network with outside resources.
Human Resource Functions
Communication

Treasurer (Volunteer)
Church Volunteers
Evaluation
This position is evaluated annually by the Senior Pastor.
QUALIFICATIONS
· A strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
· Alignment with the mission, priorities, and leadership of Light of the Valley church.
· Some acquired knowledge in a business, management, finance, or related field.
· 3-5 years’ experience in financial management and leadership
· Gifts of administration, organization, and leadership.
· Detail-oriented.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Demonstrated high emotional intelligence.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to work and engage with staff, teams, and the congregation.
· Proven ability to recruit and encourage volunteer involvement, development, and empowerment.
· Ability to work with and maintain positive relationships with those inside and outside of the church.
· Discernment in handling sensitive issues, managing conflict biblically and maintaining confidentiality.
